Hazel is supposed to be dead. When she lived before, she didn’t do a very good job of it. Sure, she was an obedient daughter, even when her mother was possessed by greed. But that was the problem – when the Voice took over her mother and commanded Hazel to use her “gift” for and evil purpose, Hazel couldn’t say no. Now because of her mistake, the future of the world is at risk. Hazel wished she could ride away from it all on the stallion that appears in her dreams.

Frank is a klutz. His grandmother says he is descended from heroes and can be anything he wants to be, but he doesn’t see it. He doesn’t even know who his father is. He keeps hoping Apollo will claim him, because the only thing he is good at is archery – although not good enough to win camp war games. His bulky physique makes him feel like an ox, especially infront of Hazel, his closest friend at camp. He trusts her completely – enough to share the secret he holds close to his heart.

MY REVIEW: It is unfair that someone can write so amazing. I have never read a better author in my life! Rick Riordan is my hero! :] This book IS filled with so many emotions and, like … everything! Magic, quests, death, humor, sadness, fun, and “love” all into ONE, yes, ONE, book! This is the type of book where you will be sad its over. When this series is over I will cry so much. I hope he still writes about Percy and his friends. I also love how he can make you have an exact picture of the place he is talking about!

I LOVE THIS BOOK! It is amazing. Like I said 100,000,000,000 times already.

NOTE: If you haven’t read the Percy Jackson series or read the first one in this series, The Lost Hero, do NOT read this yet. First, go read all the Percy Jackson books. Then, read The Lost Hero, then I give you permission to read this one. I say this because it will NOT make any sense to you if you don’t know anything. So, do yourself a favor and go read all the other books first!

CONS: Yes, this is the first time ever that Rick Riordan has had a con in his book before. It is small, by very BIG to me. Annabeth is not mentioned in this book a lot. They talk about her but I freaking love Annabeth so I wanted to know more of her in this book. (But this book still makes my top 5!)

The Mark of Athena: Marking my calender! October 2, 2012 will be one of the best days ever in History. Kids should learn about it in like 50 years! Mark of Athena is coming out! AH! And guess who one of the main characters is. . . Yes, CORRECT! ANNABETH! Calming myself down. Laugh out loud.

Review Part 2: Go read this, now! As long as you listened to my NOTE! I think kids can really connect with these books for several reasons.

1. Rick (yes, just Rick. We are on a first named basis. We HOMIES) shows how even the most outcast-ed kids can be something important and that they should never let themselves be somebody who they aren’t.
2. He makes the characters R E L A T A B L E! Percy is dyslexic. Many kids can relate to that!! All the demigods grew up without both parents in their life. Now a days many kids have that going on in their life. No dad or no mom. Because, divorce is really common in these days. It sucks.

BOOK UPDATE: (books I am going to read)

• Temptation. I picked it up at Walmart, yesterday. It is by R.L Stine. It is 3 books put into one! Goodnight Kiss, Goodnight Kiss 2, and “The Vampire Club”. It looks pretty good if you ask me. And yes, I am pretty late on the whole vampire trend. lol.
• Today on Amazon I ordered 2 books! Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher and Hate List. They both look amazing! So, I will start with reasons and then read Hate List.
• I really wanted The Fault in our Stars by John Green. I mentioned it a couple posts ago! But Unfortunately my mom said only 2. So, I will get that soon).

7- Girl on Fire! By Alicia Keys. I heard it while watching the VMA’s. Nicki Minaj was ft. :)

THAT GIRL IS ON FIRREEE! Reminds me of the Hunger Games. Speaking of, have you guys seen the trailer for House on the End of the Street. LOOKS SCARY! I jump everytime. Poor Jennifer Lawrence. I just wanna hug her when I see that and tell her it will be okay. But then again my life would be in danger…so…nah….I’m good….LOL. jk

Hey! Happy Birthday MOM! Yes, it is my mom’s birthday today! She is 41. wow! She is heading up that hill, quickly. I am just kidding. So, I made her a cake. Her favorite, Cherry Chip with Cherry frosting. She hasn’t had it in 10 years. :] But, yeah…she sure liked the batter. She was all like MY BATTER! I was like chill.

Right now I am baking Taquitos. ( hope I spelled that right ) I love Mexican food! My favorite….;}

UMM..I still haven’t finished The Son of Neptune yet. But I am today because I have less than 100 pages. So booshya! Yesterday at the store, I was about to get Perks of Being a Wallflower, but It was realllyy inappropriate. But online people said it’s fine for 13 years old’s. My mom did NOT think so. So, instead I got Temptation by R.L Stine. It has 3 books into 1. Goodnight Kiss, Goodnight Kiss 2, and “The Vampire Club” I thought it said grades 7 and up but I was wrong. It said ages 15 and up. I hope I don’t get scared. Te-he. I am starting that today, yeah? LOL! YES!

• GET THIS: On the math homework you could miss 4 and still get a 100%. 5/5 and guess what I got! A 4 1-2 so I got a 4/5 on it. So, I am redoing it. I was so bummed out. And I didn’t miss the answer I just didn’t put GREEN MARBLES or something like that. (yum, my Toquitos are done!)  So, yeah, I got a half point. :[

OKAY. I hate History. It is so boring. I don't care who did what, when, why, or anything. Yeah for you. You made it into a History book, I DON'T CARE!!

I am having a movie line-up! Props to (KENYA) for the idea. My line-up, Madagascar (which I am watching right now and drinking hot chocolate), Spy Kids 3 ( I love spy kids), Are we there yet? ( LOVE IT), and lastly Matilda (the greatest of all time).

NEXT DAY!: Yeah, so it’s Sunday now. I saved that thing above as a draft. So, my plans for today are going to get my teeth whitened at 1:30.( My aunt does it) Then, who knows. I might visit some relatives. Couldn’t tell you even if I could.

Wanna know something that happened? I was at the movies with my mom, aunt, and uncle, watching The Odd Life of Timothy Green. ( good movie by the way) When 50 kids some my grade come. They are all laughing and staring at me. I felt like an ant surrounded by giants. But, I know I should never be ashamed of my family and truthfully I don’t give a crap what people think of me.

I am still reading The Son of Neptune. I have been reading slowly. I don’t know why, but I haven’t been in the mood to read lately. But I am making myself read today. I still have homework. . . single tear. (math teacher)

So, I lost student council. I was running for 8th grade rep against this one boy and I lost. Everyone said they were voting for me and a lot of people did. This kid is really nice so I don’t hate him. I am glad he won. its just I also ran last year and lost so I feel like a loser. I think the office switched the votes because everyone in the office hates my guts. I made posters, handed out candy and flyers, and campaigned very well. I feel so bad for Kenya because she even made shirts and I feel that I let her down because she wasted stuff for that when I didn’t even win.

ON Tuesday I am going to the office and talking to Anna about the elections and I’m going to tell her that everyone said they voted for me and my whole family kinda got tore a part. ( Not that it will fix me losing, but just so she knows) But, my whole family kinda got into a fight. But that’s to personal to tell. I haven’t even told the whole story to my friends. So, I won’t.

I have no clue what I want to say, I will say GOODBYE!

I haven’t posted in forever! My last post was my Jasper Jones Book Review! Go check that out if you have not already.

A lot of things have been going on in my life!! (It is always nice to blog and know what to talk about)

- I started 8th grade last week!! Which explains why I haven’t been posting in a while. Homework takes all night. Plus, I don’t get home until around 9. I got home early tonight though! Insert WAHOO!

-I am running on the student council. 8th grade rep!! Hope I WIN! I ran for 7th grade rep last year. . . and lost. Oh well, none of my friends did it last year so it would have been boring anyways. Everything happens for a reason!!

- I like my math teacher! I had trouble with math last year! But she explains it so well. I think I will do good in her class. I haven’t got lower than an A yet. So pray for me!

- I have a new favorite song!

- I am reading the Son of Neptune! I have read the whole Percy Jackson collection and The Lost Hero. I am only 152 pages in on The Son of Neptune but I am HOOKED! I love Rick Riordan’s books! I love the way he writes! Book review up when I am done! (like always)

-I have to do homework but I am blogging instead. I have to go now!!:(

My Review: I think this book is amazing! It is perfect for people like me! Warning: I recommend being at least 13 or over, for sexuality, cussing (and I mean a LOT of cussing), and some scary moments.

Craig Silvey did an amazing job capturing life lessons and teaching kids the true meaning of life. There are so many memorable quotes in this book that I wish I would have wrote them down.

The book follows Charlie Bucktin.  Laura Wishart, a 16 year old who dies is the plot.  She kills herself and leaves a note. But, someone has that note that shouldn’t which makes the story. Everyone thinks the town psycho Mad Jack Lionel might have murdered her. But he is related to someone in the book and killed that persons mother leaving his father to be the town drunkard and pot head. Eliza Wishart (Lauras younger sister) knows something BIG! That just so happily ruins the lives of a couple people.  Murders, Fires, suicide, romance, and friendship are all placed in this book nicely. Did Laura kill herself over Jasper? And how did she kill herself? Read the book to find out.

I told you a little. That is just a FEW of the things that happen in the book. I didn’t tell you all because I hope it makes you want to read it. I recommend to any teenager, any gender. This book takes place in the 1960′s. If you don’t like old town books or old- talk you might not like this book. They say a lot of things on the line of nuthin, bad grammar, ‘dint tell them nothing’ is a line that Jasper Jones says!

I hope you read this. It will change you. It teaches you to go for what you believe in and fight for yourself.

Charlie and Eliza are in love. They kiss (and more) and love eachother. It made me a little AWWW-y at times!! Go READ THIS NOW! YOU WILL LOVE IT!

Yes. I know what you’re thinking. WOW! That is a lot of subscriptions. I know. I know. I don’t watch all of them. Most of them, yes. Some of them don’t even make videos anymore I just never unsubscribed.

My Top 5! 

( they are not in order. I am just randomly putting them in positions.) FACT: A lot of these FAMOUS youtubers have more than 1 channel. I am just putting their main channel.

• ShaneDawsonTV. He has other channels including (ShaneDawsonTV2, shane, and more.)
• iJustine. I love iJustine. She does apple store dances and so much fun stuff. I like her other channels too. (otherijustine, iJustinegaming, iJustinereviews, and iJustinesiphone)
• Bethanyslife. I love BETHANY, she is so funny and amazing. She also has a beauty channel. (macbarbie07) I am subscribed to that one too, even though I only watch some of those. Because those are mostly makeup videos but she also does vlogs.
• yoyomax12. This is a cooking/baking channel. I love baking and cooking and I love this channel. Her videos are incredible.
• Luke. Also known as lukeconard or lukeconard2. I love his videos. He is a very talented singer but I love his v-logs the most.

I love all the channels. I just had to choose 5. It was really tough. Now, I am going to tell you how find my favorite channels!

SEARCHING!! CLICKING!! WATCHING!!

I found the YouTube channels I watch just by searching and clicking on their videos. If I like it I watch more and decide if I want to watch them regularly. If I do, I subscribe. Simple as that.

Another way that I find a lot of them is through the channels that I watch already. A lot of youtubers have youtube friends. I found out of JoeyGraceffa by luke and catrific. I found catrific from iJustine, and that is basically how it happens.

An innocent person could get murdered for no reason other then the killer is sick minded.

The worst people in the world can have the best life and luck. It just isn’t fair.

The nicest, caring, unselfish person, can have a horrible life when they deserve the best.

I was thinking back to my cousin who died a while ago. 2007 I think.

He was on his way to work and got in a car crash. He died almost immediately. He couldn’t breathe.

He had a daughter who is 18 now I think. He had a new born baby girl. And his fiancee was pregnant with another baby girl. She found out she was pregnant shortly after he died. He never even knew that he was going to be a dad again.

My great great grandma died in 2006 I think it was. Leaving her husband (my great great grandpa) and my whole family devastated. Years went on and we moved on. My grandpa didn’t want to live without her.

A couple years later he died from old age. And they got buried together.

My non-blood family lost there 3 month old baby on Valentines day. She went to sleep and didn’t wake up. She had a problem that is common is babies, I think.

My moms friend lost her 16 year old daughter in a car accident a while back. I mean why her? A 16 year old girl who in a couple years would have been done with school. Had a family, career, etc. Life is so unfair.

My great grandma and grandpa are getting older. They are healthy and stay active. They are both almost 80 years old. Our whole family is so close to them. We have all our parties at their house. We have holidays there and dinner there. ( I am actually going there tonight for tacos.)

Earth is a cruel place. Life is unfair. You never know what might happen today, tomorrow, or the next.

If you have dream, if you want to do something, DO IT! I know that I want to be remembered as a good person, loving, and caring. Someone who stood up for what he believes in. If you want to be a baker, if you want to sky dive, anything do it. Don’t let people get you down. Life is short, make it worth taking the ride.

Blogging is really fun. It has changed my life a little. I choose to blog instead of doing something else. It takes up time but I love to do it so I choose to. Instead of playing on my iPad or watching tv I am blogging right now. Because, I love you guys that much.

I will be posting again either tomorrow or the following today. It will be about Awkward moments and situations. So, stay tuned for that. I think those kind of posts are fun. That is why I will be doing it. Duh.

Step 1: What kind of sickness do you want to have. Stomach ache, fever, flu, . . .?

Stomach Ache: In order to pull a tummy ache off you need to use these tips.

1: Pretend like it hurts to walk. Moan when you walk. Not anything like a dying cow just kind of go uhhhhhh. Your parents will flip.

2: Lay in bed and hold your stomach. Make sure you find the spot you want them to think it hurts at. I would not suggest your right abdomen. Your parents might think it could be your appendix and then you go to the doctor.

3: Go to the bathroom a lot. You don’t have to go. Just take your iPod in there and dance around. But don’t forget to flush.

4: Don’t eat. Usually if you have a stomach ache you aren’t hungry. So, ask for soup. Do NOT ask for Taco Bell or anything like that. THAT IS A NO NO!

Fever: A fever is one of the easiest to pull off, luckily. And they work the best.

1: Complain of a headache the night before. And when you get home take the thermometer into the bathroom and run it under warm water. You want to aim for 99 degrees F. to 100 F. NO higher or you might need a hospital visit. And that isn’t fun. Get a blowdryer and blow your forehead.

2: Squint your face and whine. That works so good! Watch the video below to learn more!

If you follow these tips you will be absent from school in no time. I don’t recommend this and I am NOT responsible if you get in trouble. I am trying to get perfect attendance this year. So I will NOT be doing these tricks.
